Single profile graph (AncestryDNA)
Choose this to work with one person's DNA test results.
A PDF network graph of Ancestry DNA matches for a single profile. That is, it includes the matches of one person who has taken a DNA test. The high resolution, searchable PDF chart is designed for onscreen viewing.
This graph not only lays out connections between DNA matches, it also colour codes them by matching group.
Also provided with each purchase is an enhanced version of the 'match' spreadsheet, including matching groups and number of shared matches for each person. If a 'Tree' file is provided, surnames for each match will be added to the sheet.

Data requirements - Customer to provide data
'Match' and 'in-common-with' CSV data files for each profile are required. Tree files can optionally be used to add surnames to the spreadsheet for matches with public trees. The DNAGedcom client is a small piece of software that can be used to download the data files for a modest subscription cost that can be cancelled at any time. Please leave "Quicker Match Gather" unchecked for best results. I recommend using a minimum cM value of 20cM if you have more than 1,000 estimated 4th or closer cousins, 15cM if more than 500, or 10cM if less than 500. Tree files can optionally be provided if you would like surnames appended to each match. An upload link for the files will be provided in your order confirmation email. |
