Close family graph (Ancestry DNA)
A PDF network graph of Ancestry DNA matches for a simple combination of close family members. The PDF chart is designed for onscreen viewing. Two versions of the PDF are provided, one colour coded by group and the other by relationship.
Examples of relationships covered by this chart are any number of full siblings plus:
- one parent or one grandparent
- any number of half-siblings (one side only)
- any number of aunts and uncles (one side only)
- any number of first cousins who are full siblings to each other.
All people in the chart must be first cousins or closer to the focus person/siblings and there should be a maximum of three relationship colour codes (eg focus siblings only, close relative only, or both).
If in doubt, please contact me before ordering. For more distant or complex relationships please look at the Extended family graph (Ancestry DNA).
Also provided with each purchase is an enhanced version of the 'match' spreadsheet, including matching groups and profile by profile shared centimorgan values. If 'Tree' files are provided, surnames for each match will be added to the sheet.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
'Match' and 'in-common-with' CSV data files for each profile are required. Tree files can optionally be used to add surnames to the spreadsheet for matches with public trees.
The DNAGedcom client is a small piece of software that can be used to download the data files for a modest subscription cost that can be cancelled at any time. Please leave "Quicker Match Gather" unchecked for best results. I recommend using a minimum cM value of 20cM if you have more than 1,000 estimated 4th or closer cousins, 15cM if more than 500, or 10cM if less than 500. Tree files can optionally be provided if you would like surnames appended to each match.
An upload link for the files will be provided in your order confirmation email.
